Verifiable Validates Its Healthcare Credentialing Software With Another $27M
Poor access to real-time credentialing data has been a problem for healthcare organizations. Verifiable is one company that has been looking to automate the healthcare credentialing and compliance process and verify a provider’s background information, skills, and competency levels. The Austin, Texas-based firm's development of provider network management software recently got a $27 million Series B boost. Craft Ventures led the round. It was joined by 137 Ventures, Cooley, Highland Capital Partners and such existing investors as The Altman Fund and Struck Capital. To help healthcare organizations shorten the time it takes to credential providers from weeks to days, Verifiable integrates application programming interfaces (or APIs) with real-time verification technology. Additionally, it automates provider network operations for both providers and payers so that regulatory compliance and operational efficiencies are maintained. This, in turn, reduces costs.
