Printing Certificates from Digital Badges
by Cheri A. Arman, CPCS, CPMSM on behalf of the CCN
Did you know that NAMSS has transitioned to digital badges in place of paper certificates for certification and other achievements? 2022 was the last year for the Certification Commission of NAMSS (CCN) to send paper certificates for CPCS and CPMSM initial certification. Still want the printed copy? Have no fear. We still have the ability to show off that certificate in multiple ways.
Credly, our partner organization for digital badges, has step by step instructions for promoting or printing your digital certification! https://support.credly.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026639872-Can-I-download-and-print-my-badge-certificate-
Today, I’m going to show you how to do it, step by step:
Step One: Log into your Credly account (https://www.credly.com/earner/dashboard)
Step Two: Find the badge certificate you wish to print and click “Share”

From there, the site gives you multiple ways to promote or publish your badge. One option is to download the certificate.
Step 3: Click “Download Certificate” under the Publish section.

Here’s an example of the certificate after you download it:

Step 4: Print or Save
I saved my document to print at my leisure. It was very simple!
This time, I chose to use white cardstock to display my certificates, but next time I might decide to pick up some fancy certificate paper. It’s your choice.
Pro Tip: Depending on your software, you may need to select “print markups or stamps”
