Researchers at the University of Missouri (MU) School of Medicine, in partnership with Roche Diagnostics, recently found that the cloud-based NAVIFY Tumor Board significantly lowers the amount of time doctors and nurses spend preparing for multidisciplinary tumor board meetings. The NAVIFY solution integrates all relevant clinical data for a tumor board into a single digital dashboard accessible to all clinicians. The 16-month clinical study of 227 tumor board meetings involving 1,866 patient cases found a 30% reduction in preparation time across three cancer categories, with the biggest time savings of 69% involving the breast tumor board. In addition to saving time, MU School of Medicine's Richard Hammer said the easy access to clinical data provided by the dashboard "reduces costs for both patients and hospitals."
