The death of a Georgia couple's baby who was decapitated during delivery has been classified by the Clayton County Medical Examiner’s Office as a homicide. Treveon Taylor Jr.'s mother and father, Jessica Ross and Treveon Isaiah Taylor Sr., have sued Southern Regional Medical Center and the doctor who delivered the baby back in July. The medical examiner determined that the immediate cause of death was a broken neck, citing "human action" to blame. The boy’s parents charge that Dr. Tracey St. Julian delayed a surgical procedure and did not seek help quickly enough when the baby got stuck during delivery. Instead, she allegedly applied excessive force to the baby's head and neck. The hospital south of Atlanta and St. Julian have both denied wrongdoing, arguing that the baby died in utero. According to Clayton Police Major Frank Thomas, the case was still under investigation.
