Infographic: Expedited Licensing
By Jennifer Dorais, MHA, CPMSM, CPCS
Within the U.S., physician shortages are steadily increasing each year. As more practitioners need to be licensed in multiple states, the interstate license compacts offer a streamlined and expedited licensure pathway for eligible practitioners, cutting down the average licensing process of two to three months to only a few days. License compacts are now available for physicians, nurses, and, most recently, physician assistants. As more states join the compacts and practitioners utilize the expedited licensure pathway, MSPs across hospitals, physician groups, and more will be impacted. View insight below on the different compacts and follow the links to find more information on addressing this challenge.
